Norwegian salmon live on Spanish radio Published: 21 June, 2006
LAST weekend Norwegian salmon was presented live on Spanish radio by Arne Sorvig from the Norwegian Seafood Export Council (NSEC/EFF). This was due to the news that Norwegian exports to Spain had increased by 25% in volume and 30% in value in the first five months of this year.
On a weekly program about good food and drink in Spain, Mr Sorvig prepared three tapas: smoked salmon on toast, sashimi of fresh salmon and a ceviche of salmon with orange and greek yoghurt dressing. The comments that went out to listeners where delicioso and fantastico, the NSEC said.
