NFFO to visit North-east, Yorkshire and Humber ports Published:  25 June, 2008

ALAN McCulla of the National Federation of Fishermen’s Organisations (NFFO) is due to visit ports in the North-east, Yorkshire and Humber areas to discuss the fuel crisis, the European Fisheries Fund and other fisheries issues.

Mr McCulla will be in the North-east on Monday, June 30, Scarborough and Bridlington on Tuesday, July 1 and in Grimsby on Wednesday, July 2.

Local fishermen will be notified of meeting times/locations or can call Julia Dennison on 01904 635430 to arrange a meeting with Alan.

An evening meeting has been arranged for fishermen in the Bridlington area – Tuesday 1st July, 7.30pm, Rags Hotel, Bridlington.

All local fishermen, both members of the NFFO, and non members, whether over 10 metres or under 10 metres are welcome.
