Launch of Irish Fish Farming Plan Fish Farming Today Published:  09 December, 2002

NEXT Monday, the Dungarvan Harbour CLAMS plan will be launched by John Browne, Minister of State at Ireland’s Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources.

The plan sets out all fish farming activities in Dungarvan Harbour and details information such as the interests of other harbour users, the history of aquaculture in Dungarvan as well as laying out the future plans of the industry in the area.

The event will also feature the launch of the updated CLAMS. explanatory handbook, which deals in detail with the CLAMS process and sets out its role both in terms of national and EU policy.

The event will take place in the Clonea Strand Hotel in Dungarvan, Co Waterford at 1pm.
