A fish merchant has been ordered to pay £3,245.10 in fines and costs by Chichester Magistrates Court on Monday 22 April for failing to submit sales notes to the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) between April and July 2012.

Robert Brooks, Director of Riverside Fish in Littlehampton, pleaded guilty to the charges in court. The case was taken to court following an MMO investigation.

Mr. Brooks received a fine of £325 and was ordered to pay costs of £2,905.10 and a victim surcharge of £15.
