The Sustainable Development of European SMEs Engaged in Abalone Aquaculture (SUDEVAB) project will have an open symposium at the Galway Bay Hotel, Ireland on the 19th May 2009. The meeting which is being organised in conjunction with BIM will contain presentations from the SUDEVAB team on the research and progress of the project so far, and will also include associated presentations related to abalone aquaculture in Europe.

Anna Soler of the Irish Seaweed Centre is coordinating the event and can help with travel details or hotel reservations.
