Aquaculture Awards: just one week left to enter

Aquaculture businesses and professionals have just one week remaining to submit their entry for the Aquaculture Awards, taking place as part of Aquaculture UK in June.

Aquaculture Awards 2025

Winners will be revealed on Tuesday 16 June at a gala dinner at the prestigious Hilton Glasgow Hotel.

 

There are 13 categories in the awards this year:

·      Collaboration

·      Innovation

·      Sustainability

·      Community Initiative

·      Animal Health & Welfare

·      Supplier of the Year

·      Best New Start Up

·      Aquaculture Site of the Year

·      Farmer of the Year

·      Outstanding Contribution to the Industry

·      Unsung Hero

·      Judges’ Special Recognition Award

 

This year’s judges are David Little, Deputy Director of the Institute of Aquaculture at the University of Stirling; Fish Farmer columnist and owner of Offshore Shellfish Ltd, Nicki Holmyard; freelance journalist and former Fish Farmer editor Jenny Hjul; Candice Hale, Operations Manager with Salmon Scotland; Mike Spain, Director of Aquaculture and Marine Ecosystem Services, Crown Estate Scotland; Sarah Riddle, Head of Research and Innovation, SAIC; and Malcolm Johnstone, Independent Aquaculture Auditor/Consultant.

 

The deadline for entries is Monday 9 March and the entry form can be accessed via the Awards website.
