The Blue Food Innovation Summit is a leading event held in London that gathers producers, innovators, technology leaders, start-ups, investors, retailers, and experts from the aquaculture and blue food sectors. It focuses on advancing sustainable and innovative solutions for aquatic food production while protecting and restoring ocean ecosystems.
The summit covers a wide range of topics including sustainable aquafeed, seaweed and algae cultivation, fish health and welfare, digital platforms for smallholder farmers, robotics in ocean farming, blue carbon, AI-driven aquaculture, investment opportunities, and regenerative ocean practices. It aims to address global challenges such as food security, climate change, and biodiversity by fostering collaboration, showcasing disruptive technologies, and facilitating knowledge exchange across the full value chain.
The event features keynote speeches, expert panels, start-up showcases, and interactive sessions with over 250 to 350+ attendees from more than 40 countries. Notable speakers have included leaders from the Aquaculture Stewardship Council, Aqua-Spark, Mowi, Cermaq, and the United Nations FAO.
