The company’s chief commercial officer Thomas Fekete Rønningen said that 2025 had been a year of exceptionally strong growth for Aquabyte.

“We  expect this momentum to continue into 2026 and beyond. With Kamilla’s promotion and the addition of Åsmund to the team, we are strengthening our sales organisation to support this growth.

“We are very pleased to have Åsmund on board, bringing with him solid experience from the aquaculture industry.”

In her new role as Head of Sales – North Atlantic, Kamilla Svindseth will be responsible for continued growth across Northern European markets outside Norway, including Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Scotland and Ireland.

Kamilla said: “The development of Aquabyte over the past few years has been an incredible journey. We clearly see that our technology is increasingly being adopted beyond our two largest markets – Norway and Chile. I’m both proud and excited to step into the role of Head of Sales – North Atlantic, and I look forward to spending even more time further developing the strong relationships we have with farmers across the region.”

Åsmund Håvik joins Aquabyte as Head of Sales – Norway, bringing many years of experience from the aquaculture sector. His background includes roles at Steinsvik and ScaleAQ, most recently serving as Sales Director for Norway at ScaleAQ.

He said: “Both I and the rest of the industry have taken note of the position Aquabyte has built within AI-driven decision support over recent years.

“The company is now clearly a leader in its field. For me, this represents a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most important technologies in aquaculture – both strategically and in close collaboration with customers in Aquabyte’s largest market.”

Both will be based at the company HQ in Bergen.
