Seafood Expo Global is the world’s largest and most diverse seafood trade event, bringing together thousands of industry professionals from around the globe. It is organised by Diversified Communications and held at the Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue in Barcelona, Spain.
The event showcases a wide range of seafood products including fresh, frozen, canned, value-added, processed, and packaged seafood. It also features Seafood Processing Global, which covers all aspects of seafood processing such as packaging materials and machinery, refrigeration and freezing equipment, hygiene control, sanitation, and quality assurance services.
Seafood Expo Global serves as a vital platform for the seafood industry to conduct business on a global scale, build relationships, discover new products and technologies, and discuss current and future challenges facing the sector. It attracts over 2,000 exhibiting companies from more than 80 countries, including numerous first-time exhibitors and many national and regional pavilions.
The event also includes conferences and sessions led by industry experts, covering topics like sustainability, market trends, regulations, and innovation. Additionally, it hosts the Seafood Excellence Global Awards, recognizing outstanding products in retail and HORECA (hotel/restaurant/catering) categories.
