The Aquaculture Awards 2026 are now open for entries.
Celebrating the people, projects, and organisations leading the way in innovation, sustainability, and responsible farming, the awards are a highlight in the industry’s calendar.

This year there are 13 categories, including Rising Star, Innovation, Sustainability, Outstanding Contribution to the Industry, and Unsung Hero, among others.
The Judges’ Special Recognition award, selected by the judging panel from the awards entries, will recognise an individual, project or business demonstrating impressive commitment and a responsible approach to aquaculture.
This year’s judges are David Little, Deputy Director of the Institute of Aquaculture at the University of Stirling; Fish Farmer columnist and owner of Offshore Shellfish Ltd, Nicki Holmyard; freelance journalist and former Fish Farmer editor Jenny Hjul; Candice Hale, Operations Manager with Salmon Scotland; Mike Spain, Director of Aquaculture and Marine Ecosystem Services, Crown Estate Scotland; Sarah Riddle, Head of Research and Innovation, SAIC; and Malcolm Johnstone, Independent Aquaculture Auditor/Consultant.
The awards are free to enter and open to the entire industry. The deadline for entries is Monday 9 March, and finalists will be announced by the judging panel on 13 April.
This year, the glittering event is moving to a new venue, and will take place on Tuesday 16 June at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow. The host for the evening has still to be announced.
