AquaFuture Spain returns for a second year in 2023

The demand for places at AquaFuture Spain this year was so great that organisers have decided to run the show – which was originally conceived as biennial – in March 2023.

The event – Spain’s leading aquaculture trade show – saw its debut this year. The next show had been planned for 2024 but the decision to bring it forward is intended to allow more companies to participate. In 2022, 143 companies from 23 countries were represented and the show attracted 2,400 visitors.

In 2023, AquaFuture Spain will once again be held the Feira Internacional de Galicia ABANCA venue in Silleda, near Santiago de Compostela on Spain’s Atlantic coast, running between 28 and 30 March 2023.

Next year, the organisers, OK Events, aim to include practically all of the most important companies in the sector in the show’s exhibition space as well as a greater institutional presence and associations from both different communities and other countries. Networking spaces will be created to facilitate dealmaking and establish contacts.

From 2026 onwards, the show will return to its biennial schedule.

The show was open for repeat bookings from exhibitors as from yesterday, and new exhibitors will be able to reserve their place as from Monday 17 October.
