THE Scottish Salmon Company has announced the appointment of a finance director, Fiona Larkin, who starts at the organisation this week.
Larkin joins the company from Intergen UK Ltd, where she was director of business performance, financial planning and analysis, and previously group financial controller.
A graduate of both the University of Edinburgh and the University of Grenoble, Larkin has previously worked at Franklin Temple Investments as deputy European financial controller and internal audit manager, and Price Waterhouse Coopers as a management consultant.
She completed her accountancy training at Coopers & Lybrand and is a member of the Scottish Institute of Chartered Accountants.
The Scottish Salmon Company managing director, Craig Anderson said: ‘I’m delighted to announce Fiona’s appointment and to welcome her to The Scottish Salmon Company.
‘Over the past 20 years, Fiona has built up a wealth of experience in areas ranging from creating and leading multi-discipline teams to compliance and internal audit to managing major projects and performance and financial reporting.
‘Fiona will have much to contribute to SSC’s future, as we continue to go from strength to strength as an organisation.’
Ms Larkin’s appointment completes a recruitment process started after previous interim chief financial officer Clare White left her position three months ago.
