Infectious Haemotopoietic Necrosis discovered in Croatian Rainbow trout

AN outbreak of infectious haematopoietic necrosis has occurred in farmed rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in Croatia.
A Follow up Report (No.4, 29 December 2014) has been sent to the World Health Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), states a report on TheFishSite.
The new outbreak was discovered at Donja Suvaja in the Zadarska region, bordering Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On 17 December, fish in a semi-closed system were observed to have increased morbidity and mortality. In total 16,550 fish were affected.
