Senior Husbandry – Loch Craignish (Seawater)

To support this exciting growth phase, Kames Fish Farming Ltd are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced people to join our core team.

As part of this recruitment programme, we are currently seeking two Senior Husbandry Persons to assist operations at our two-cage sites in Loch Craignish.

The ideal candidate will be currently in a senior husbandry role or an experienced husbandry person, who is looking to take the next step in their career progression.

Proven qualities will be in teamwork, with a high level of Health & Safety Awareness, a high standard of fish welfare and a minimum 3 years’ experience in aquaculture production operations. Formal boat related training as required by the site operations and a full, clean driving license are essential.

Candidates with further education (HND or above) in an aquaculture related subject or, equivalent occupational qualifications, will be at an advantage.

Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with a 1 in 3 weekend rota system.

In return, Kames offers a competitive package, dependent on experience, with a Salary £28,080 to £37,440 (inclusive of rota weekends) and the opportunity to play a key role in our close-knit team.
