Sales Service Agent

Opportunity to work for a leading company within the Aquaculture industry in Scotland.

Vónin was established in 1969 and is today a global leader within the Aquaculture Industry and one of the world’s most recognised brands, trusted for its quality products and service.

The Head Office is located in the middle of the North Atlantic in the Faroe Islands. Outside of the Faroe Islands, Vónin also has facilities in Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Russia and Lithuania.

The successful candidate will balance their time between retention of existing business and securing new business.

The geography covered by this role will focus on the West of Scotland with some travel to Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles. The geography covered by this role will focus on the West of Scotland with some travel to Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles. This is a field-based role.

Key responsibilities

  • Visit clients face to face on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Help maintain existing accounts to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and manage new and existing relationships.
  • On-site visits to check equipment, sign off and offer guidance & support.
  • Follow up with after sales activity to drive loyalty ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction possible.
  • Keep up to date on competitive and industry activity.
  • Provide correct and on time reports, such as monthly forecasting, customer service reports.

What we want

  • Must have experience working in the Aquaculture industry (ideally within a Sales/Service role).
  • Ability to talk to Clients at a technical level and also commercially skilled, identifying and securing opportunities.

  • Structured, able to plan ahead, strong time management skills.
  • Target focused and result driven.
  • Ability to work both independently and as team player.
  • Willing to travel extensively within the Region.
  • Social and communicative, able to connect with customers and colleagues.
  • Good knowledge of tools MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM.
  • Flexible lifestyle.

Salary and terms

Salary package is negotiable depending on skills and experience.
