We currently have Husbandry roles available at our Fishnish Marine Farm on the Isle of Mull. Working on our new state of the art 160m cages, our Fishnish Farms are equipped with the latest feeding and camera software installation.

The husbandry role is crucial to our success in ensuring the best management of our superior quality Scottish salmon. We want people to lead on fish health, feed and performance; to lead on Health and Safety; to drive change; to stretch us and themselves and in doing so, gain industry-leading rewards.

Experienced Husbandry

Salary from £23,826k, overtime payments (Monday-Friday), 1:3 weekend payments (additional £5k per annum) plus additional specialisation allowance (£900 per annum)

Our husbandry roles are goals-led, continuously evolving and highly creative and we want the very best experts to deliver for our fish. Duties include general farm tasks, boat handling and fish welfare checks and maintenance.  Providing industry leading personal learning and development paths, our aim is to nurture and encourage employees to build professional career paths.

The ideal candidate: We welcome applications from both experienced candidates and those looking to begin their career in the aquaculture industry. We are looking for ambitious individuals who are team players, proactive in health and safety and who pride themselves in delivering to a high standard. Although experience is desirable, it’s not essential as full training will be given.

ABOUT THE PACKAGE

Our starting salary for a Trainee role is currently £23,000, overtime payable at 1.5 times normal rate of pay for an additional hours worked Monday-Friday, weekend payments are payable at the rate of £309 per full weekend worked.
