We are looking to recruit a proven and exceptionally talented Marine Farm Manager to join the team at our Nevis B Marine Farm in Mallaig.

To be considered for this position you must already be a highly respected Marine Farm Manager or experienced Senior Husbandry within the aquaculture industry and be able to demonstrate your commitment to developing a strong safety culture. You’ll be open and honest and communicate effectively with ease at all levels. Your ability to plan ahead will be matched by your close attention to detail. It is essential that you value our unique identity and have the skills to grow premium-quality differentiated salmon for customers who have the highest expectations.

The ideal candidate must be committed to the highest standards of health and safety management and have knowledge in all aspects of fish husbandry including fish health and welfare, feeding optimisation, containment, infrastructure maintenance and skilled seamanship. Above all, the successful will be committed to developing the team and their own leadership potential.

Scottish Sea Farms marine farm managers are already expected to be industry leading with competence in finance, budget control and planning, stock management, stakeholder interactions, people development, and promotion of health & safety.
