HARBOUR Salmon Co has been highlighted as the key brand contributor to category growth according to latest figures from Kantar.
Analysis shows that the brand has been doing particularly well at a time when market leader Saucy Fish Co is struggling in Salmon Meal Centres.
Spokesman for Harbour Salmon, Geoff Cormack, said: What was particularly exciting was that the frequency of purchase outstripped that of our competitors, showing that customers are coming back to Harbour Salmon products more often than to any others.
Figures for the twelve week period ending 10th November 2013 indicate the demand generated by the brand led to a much higher spend in the category, bringing just under £1Mn of incremental revenue to the category.
