The World’s Largest Testing Plant For Salmon Fish Farming Today Published: 29 April, 2003
TOMORROW (30th of April) the Centre for Aquaculture Competence (CAC), the worlds biggest testing plant for farmed salmon and trout, will open in Langavik, Norway.
Major salmon producer Nutreco, owns CAC and the company is planning to use the plant to test out feed, ways of feeding and technology on a scale of one to one, under real and commercial production conditions.
To mark the opening of the centre, the first test fish will be put in the sea at Wednesdays opening event reports Nutreco.
