Seafish taking part in North Atlantic Seafood Forum Published: 08 December, 2006
SEAFISH is taking an active role in the upcoming North Atlantic Seafood Forum.
The Seafood Conference event is taking place in Oslo on February
27-28 2007 and Study Tours will follow on March 1-4 2007.
On day two, Seafish will take part in the morning session Demand trends and sustainability. This session will be led by John Whitehead, Vice Chairman, Seafish and will feature Karen Galloway, Marketing Manager, Seafish. Karen will be talking about the environmental and sustainability requirements of European retailers and consumers.
Also speaking will be Rupert Howes, CEO Marine Stewardship Council (MSC); Dr Philip R Reid, SAHFOS (Sir Alister Hardy Foundation for Ocean Science); and the Iceland Minister of Fisheries, Einar K Gudfinnsson.
