The expo is the regions major trade exhibition which in 2012 was attended by more than 26,000 visitors and with presences from 13 international countries as well as Japan.
SDI is taking a 16 sq m stand at the show which will have strong Scottish branding and which will showcase products in a communal area. Processors will also have the option to attending in person.
This is being seen as an opportunity to increase exposure and raise awareness for high quality, premium seafood available from Scotland, by showcasing and offering tastings of products already available in the market as well as introducing new products and companies.
Key objectives are :

There will be no individual company booths but there will be an open, communal space with sampling of products and provision of company/product and sector literature.
