FOUR processors in North-east Scotland have landed success by winnning a top accolade for quality.
Nor-Sea Foods, based in Aberdeen and Fraserburgh,Merson and Gerry of Aberdeen and the Fraserburgh operation of Young’s Bluecrest have been presented with higher level Seafish Quality Processor Awards.
And Aberdeen firm H&H Fish has been given an entry level award.
Seafish chief executive John Rutherford said:”I am delighted that within just one month of the Seafish Quality Processor Award launch, these Scottish processing companies have successfully passed their independent audit and qualified for the award.”
Nor-Sea managing director Maurice Taylor said he was delighted and he was sure that the award would impact favourably on his business.
