C-Mar is holding its annual workshop in picturesque Portaferry
THE C-Mar Annual Aquaculture Workshop is due to take place in Portaferry, County Down, next month. The workshop has become an important annual event in the aquaculture calendar both in Northern Ireland and further afield, providing a meeting place for representatives from industry, research, development and government.
The 1½ day workshop (full day Thursday and half day Friday) will include presentations on scientific and commercial developments in aquaculture, and provide an opportunity for aquaculturists to meet and exchange ideas and experiences.
The general themes of this years workshop will be:
Sustainable Aquaculture
The Environment and Fisheries
Seaweed: Industrial Applications and Applied RTD
