Marel has promoted Ross Layton to Sales Manager for Great Britain.
Heading a team of 6, he will be responsible for sales of all Marel products and systems in the meat, fish and poultry processing industries. Ross has worked in the meat protein sector for some 10 years, having held key positions with a number of leading machinery manufacturers prior to joining Marel in 2010.Ross considerable experience has provided him with expertise in most aspects of the processing industry, so he has the essential all round knowledge that his new position demands. Having once been a professional golfer, Ross is fully aware of the need to be motivated and the hard work required to be successful in business – an admirable trait that has been recognised by us, says Graeme Rolinson, General Manager.Ross (35) lives in rural Suffolk with his partner and their 3 year old daughter. His hobbies include golf, skiing, football and rural life.
