New Clyde fisheries project to be launched at Fishing 2005 in Glasgow Published: 17 May, 2005
THE Fishing 2005 exhibition will see the launching of a major new cross-sector partnership aimed at building a sustainable future for the Clyde inshore fishery launched by The Sea Fish Industry Authority (Seafish).
The exhibition kicks off on Thursday this week.
The partnership, which is part-financed by EU FIFG funding, brings together representatives from Seafish, WWF Scotland, the Clyde Fishermen’s Association, Scottish Natural Heritage, Northern Ireland Fishermen’s Federation, Clyde and South West Static Gear Association and the Scottish Food and Drink Federation.
The project launch will be marked by the official signing of the Terms of Reference (TOR) at stand C16/18 at 1100hrs on Thursday 19 May.
