New CEO of Cermaq to take up post on March 19 Published:  12 March, 2012

JON Hindar will take up his position as CEO of Cermaq ASA on Monday 19 March.

Hindar, 55, was appointed at the end of last year, but his start date was only announced yesterday. He has broad experience of the international chemical, biotech, and finance industries, and was most recently the CEO of Norsun AS, a technology company in the solar energy industry.

His previous positions include Senior Vice President of Invitrogen Corp, CEO of Dynal Biotech ASA, and Partner and Managing Director of Fondsfinans ASA. He is also on the board of several companies including Photocure ASA and Handicare ASA.
