Network with FFB’s Export Specialists Published: 10 November, 2005
FOOD from Britain (FFB) is hosting its annual Network Forum on 14 December 2005 at the Savoy Hotel in London. This unique event for food and drink organisations will provide a perfect platform for producers to meet FFB’s team from nine offices in Europe and North America that have expert knowledge of the local markets.
FFB’s International Directors will update attendees on what’s happening in these key regions, and help producers to explore the export opportunities.
With over 300 food and drink representatives expected to attend the event,it is also a great chance to make new contacts and exchange experiences.
This year’s ‘International Retailer of the Year’, Hong-Kong based AS Watson will be presenting at the Network Forum, providing UK food and drink producers with an exclusive insight into a company that has single-handedly revolutionised the shopping experience in Hong Kong and Greater China.
Following the Network Forum, the significant achievements of British food and drink exporters will be celebrated at the 2005 Food from Britain Export Awards, held in association with The Royal Bank of Scotland and The Grocer.
The FFB Export Awards are now in their ninth year and offer a unique
opportunity for UK businesses to be recognised for export achievements.
With the latest figures predicting that UK food and drink exports will top £10 billion for the first time in a decade,
David McNair, chief executive at Food from Britain, commented: “This is a unique opportunity for British food and drink companies to discuss what’s happening in key export markets.”
