Last call to apply for financial help to attend ESE Published: 30 March, 2005
THERE are only a few more days left until the deadline for Scottish businesses to submit an application to get financial help to attend the ESE in Brussels in April.
The EU FIFG funded scheme set up by Seafood Scotland to help Scottish seafood industry personnel attend the ESE is open to anyone in the Scottish seafood sector and will assist with travel and accommodation costs for exhibitors and visitors to the ESE which takes place between 26th and 28th of April. Applications from first time visitors are particularity welcome.
Libby Woodhatch, the chief executive of Seafood Scotland said of the scheme: “We feel it is highly appropriate for fishermen to see what is being produced in other countries, and how seafood is presented to buyers and the public. I am confident there will be a good response from the industry.”
Applicants will be eligible for 20 percent funding towards their ESE 2005 expenses and must register for the scheme in advance. For more information visit: www.seafoodscotland.org or call 0131-5579344. Deadline for applications is the 4th of April 2005.
