Offering new opportunities to a growing market.

In response to the growing frozen food market in Mainland China and Hong Kong, Frozen Food Asia will make its debut 11-13 September 2012, at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre in Wanchai, Hong Kong.

Frozen Food Asia will be co-located with Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong and the Asian Seafood Exposition, two successful shows that bring a targeted audience of more than 10,000 buyers and sellers from the Asia Pacific region, Mainland China and Hong Kong – all in one location.

Statistics provided by DATAMONITOR 2009 show that China’s growing frozen food market is expected to reach US$16.1 billion by 2012 and Hong Kong’s annual growth rate is 3.9%. With more disposable income and busy daily lives, Hong Kong and Mainland China consumers are in demand of ready-made, convenient frozen and chilled foods and ingredients.

“Frozen Food Asia is the only dedicated frozen food event in Asia that provides companies with the face-to-face forum to meet with top retailers and distributors who are searching for products to satisfy consumers’ growing demands for frozen foods across all categories,” says Mary Larkin, Group Vice President and Publisher, Diversified Business Communications. “This new event provides companies with an opportunity to claim their share of this fast-growing lucrative market.”

In September 2012, Frozen Food Asia will take place alongside the Asian Seafood Exposition and Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong attracting an audience comprising of buyers and sellers from top supermarkets/hypermarkets, high volume catering, restaurants, independent retailers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, airliners and cruise lines.

Frozen Food Asia will focus on bringing top buyers looking for manufacturers and suppliers of ready meals, meat products, frozen fish and seafood, vegetables, potato products, fruits, pizza, bakery products, ice cream and frozen desserts, as well as some chilled products.
