Freshwater Engineer

Scottish Sea Farms Ltd has a vacancy for a Freshwater

Engineer to cover our Hatchery and Cage facilities

on the Isle of Mull and Morvern area.

The preferred candidate should possess the following

attributes:

•4-6 years experience in an electro-mechanical

environment

•Hold a recognised certificate of competence or

apprenticeship

•Working knowledge of pumps, valves, hydraulics,

electrical systems and installations

•Experience in small fabrication using steel, stainless

steel and fibre glass

•Competent in PVC pipework installation,

modification and repair

•Structured approach to problem identification and

solving

•Team player and strong communicator

•Demonstrate confidence within a team and

especially in front of customers

In addition to the above, the candidate should

demonstrate a continuous drive to enhance efficiency

in all processes whilst supporting the Freshwater

Production team to maintain high quality stock

production, through flexibility and efficient planning

and scheduling.
