Countdown begins for inaugural Skipper Expo Int. Bristol commercial fisheries show!

With 75 exhibitors and stand space sold out, the inaugural Skipper Expo Int.Bristol commercial fisheries show being held on 25 and 26 October 2013 looksset to attract strong interest from fishermen from throughout England andWales.

There promises to be something to interest everyone with exhibitors fromsuch diverse sectors such as marine electronics, engine suppliers, safetyequipment, creels, chandlery and deck machinery. One of the star attractionswill be a display of a GM7M fishing vessel built by G Smyth Boats, which isideal for potting and netting.

According to Sharon Boyle of organiser Mara Media, there has been a stronggroundswell of support for this new show from English and Welsh fishingindustries and she is confident that it will be well supported by a strongvisitor turnout. Mara Media already organise the highly successful Galwayand Aberdeen commercial fisheries shows and are publishers of popularcommercial fishing magazine – The Skipper.

“We recognised there was a strong demand for a similar type of fishing expoto meet the aspirations of English and Welsh fishing communities and this iswhy we are launching Skipper Expo Int. Bristol,” she says.

“This will be a show that will prove a great place to do business as well asoffering plenty of opportunities to meet with friends and socialise. It willbe an all-encompassing expo that will showcase the vast range of equipmentand services available within commercial fisheries today.”
