Aquaculture group to extend processing standards Published: 27 July, 2007
THE Global Aquaculture Alliance has announced that it is revising its Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) standards for processing plants.
While the original BAP processing standards applied only to shrimp-processing facilities, the changes and additions reflected in the revised drafts will apply for certifications of plants that process all types of farmed fish and shellfish.
