THE Annual INFOMAR Seminar will be held in the Lecture Theatre, Geological Survey of Ireland, Beggars Bush, Haddington Road, Dublin 4 on Tuesday, March 13 2007.

The Intergrated Mapping for the Sustainable Development of Ireland’s Marine Resource (INFOMAR) is a joint venture between the Geological Survey of Ireland (GSI) and the Marine Institute (MI).

The programme is a successor to the Irish National Seabed Survey and concentrates on creating a range of integrated mapping productes of the physical, chemical and biological features of the seabed in the nearshore area.

The Seminar is free and all with an interest in the Marine Sector are welcome. The programme will include a mix of project updates, survey plans and associated projects and research talks.
