Aberdeen fish processor closes Published:  12 November, 2012

ONE of Aberdeen’s oldest fish processing companies, Andrew Christie Junior Ltd, ceased trading last week.

The company, which was founded in 1946 and employed about 30 people, featured in the current series of BBC Scotland’s The Harbour.

Provisional liquidator Gordon MacLure told the BBC that the closure was indicative of the tough trading conditions in the industry at present.
